Youth Ambassador Program

Bringing together students from Utah and Mali

Program Purpose

Empower youth who want to make a difference by collaborating on service learning, ambassadorships, and fundraising activities which directly support our health and education programs in Ouelessebougou.

LEARN. LEAD. LIFT

Learn: Participants will learn about Malian history, culture, economics, etc. and teach other youth through classroom, youth group, neighborhood settings.

Lead: Participants will identify needs of Ouelessebougou community and lead other youth in working to meet those needs (e.g. sister school programs, neighborhood fundraisers, youth group projects, soliciting donations, organizing student volunteers for gala, etc.).

Lift: Youth program will result in "lifting" those in Ouelessebougou and all those locally who participate.
