Work with Us
Connecting Utah to Mali
Why do we care so much about a community across the world? Our organization believes that effective development not only improves the lives of Malians, but also those here at home. Our goal is to cultivate globally-minded citizens in Utah — individuals who have a deeper understanding and compassion for the world around them.
We provide Utahns opportunities to learn about the culture, history and position of Mali in the global community. Such efforts help individuals develop a greater awareness of the challenges facing Mali and find ways that they can assist in our humanitarian efforts.

Volunteer
We have an amazing support system of volunteers including our Board of Directors, event committees, school partners, and expedition teams. Volunteers’ time, energy, commitment and enthusiasm make it possible for us to transform lives in Ouelessebougou. Click the button below to learn how you can get involved.

Youth Engagement
We bring students from Utah and Mali together. Whether you are a student, teacher, parent or volunteer, there are many ways to make a difference. Created for young do-gooders, this is a customizable, DIY-program where participants are empowered and supported by Ouelessebougou Alliance to find the engagement activities that fit them.

Internships
Ouelessebougou Alliance works to provide meaningful and resume building experiences for all our interns. We strive to provide skill building responsibilities that will help prepare you for the job market. Internships are unpaid, but we strive to provide stipends when our budget allows. We will work with students to meet requirements for academic credit.
